Some considerations about the concept of carrying capacity in parks. - The primary aim for every park management strategy should be to avoid the deterioration of the environmental situation, but it is often threatened by tourism development i the so called ecotourism included): the carrying capacity concept was introduced to value the utmost number of visitors that a place can receive without suffering qualitative or quantitative changes: it can be used to describe the ability of the physical-biological environment to withstanding recreation use (ecological carrying capacity) or to express the amount of use that is Consistent with some measure of quality in the recreation experiences (psycho-sociological carrying capacity). In spite of its objective limits, it can be considered a good means to land planning, especially according to strategic decisions such as internal Zoning in parks.

Quelques réfléxions sur la capacité’ de charge touristique dans les parcs naturels. - L’objectif premier dans la stratégie d’aménagement de tous les parcs naturels doit être éviter de mettre en danger les conditions de milieu, mais but est souvent difficile à rejoindre a cause du développement touristique: l’idée de capacité de charge fut abordée pour estimer le plus grand nombre des visiteurs qui peut être accuillé par un territoire sans changements qualitatifs et quantitatifs; tout ça peut être appliqué et au naturel (capacité de charge écologique) et au milieu humain (capacité de charge psychosociologique).
