A particular sistem of small concave (sinkholes, small valley etc.) and convex (hums, small ridges etc.) landforms in liasic chert limestone is described;this sistem is situated at the beginning of a valley above the Plain of Nesso. These landforms are believed by the author, who seeks to outline their evolution, to be prevalently karstic in origin; the presence of a fault which would have favoured the alignment of a serie.s of sinkholes, was probably influential also.
