Another map of part of Friuli by Canciano Colombicchio (1627). The article describes a fine and exact partial map of the Friuli plain, from Udine to the lagoons of Grado and Marano and from Palmanova to Bertiolo, drawn up in 1627 by Canciano Colombicchio. This map, not altogether unknown to historians of cartography, was believed to be lost. It is of great interest, because many details, and especially the little pictures which represent the cities and the villages, prove that this author made use of original surveys made in the places themselves.
