Geografie morali della mobilità. Riflessioni dal laboratorio Mediterraneo

ABSTRACT:
Il saggio discute evoluzioni teoriche ed esperienze di ricerca sul terreno condotte dall’Autrice, in ambito internazionale mediterraneo, sul tema dei flussi umani, incontri, accoglienza, radicamento in società di nuova residenza. I risultati inducono ad un cambiamento di prospettiva in termini di approccio etico di studio delle mobilità, piuttosto che di geografia delle migrazioni o aproblematica prospettiva di geografia degli incontri. Ciò deriva dalla condizione di differenza, vissuta emotivamente in un continuum territoriale che tiene agganciato il migrante tra società di origine e accoglienza, e dal momento politico-sociale nel quale la differenza genera tensioni e antagonismo che richiamano ad una ricerca maggiormente orientata nella e per la società.
The essay discusses theoretical developments and on field research conducted by the Author, in the international Mediterranean context, on the theme of human flows, encounters, hospitality, embedding in new receiving societies. The results lead to a change of perspective in terms of the ethical approach to studying mobility, rather than the in terms of geography of migration or of an unproblematic perspective of the geography of encounters. This finding stems from the condition of difference, experienced emotionally, in a territorial continuum that keeps the migrant hooked between the society of origin and the receiving one, and from the political-social situation where the difference generates tensions and antagonism, that recall a more oriented research in and for the society.
