L'articolo presenta i principali risultati di un progetto di auto-narrazione fotografica con i giovani studenti di due collèges situati in due quartieri differenti della città di Fès, in Marocco. L'obiettivo principale del progetto consisteva nell'investigare come un gruppo di giovani abitanti della città percepisse le trasformazioni in atto nei rispetti quartieri e come tali trasformazioni impattassero le loro vite quotidiane, abitudini ed emozioni. Con il concetto di racconto fotografico si intende una metodologia incentrata su un racconto testuale individuale sugli spazi della quotidianità, successivamente reso in immagini. I racconti e le fotografie dei giovani partecipanti hanno rivelato geografie nascoste e altrimenti invisibili, che si spingono oltre la semplice documentazione dei luoghi per rivelare una ben più significativa testimonianza degli usi, delle rappresentazioni, delle emozioni e delle implicazioni politiche che legano i giovani allo spazio.
Everyday geographies and emotions. Photo stories by young inhabitants in Fès. - The paper presents the main results of a project of photographic storytelling with the pupils of two schools belonging to two different district in the city of Fès, Morocco. The aim of the project was to investigate how a group of young inhabitants perceived the urban transformations underway in their neighbourhoods and how these may have influenced their everyday lives, habits, and emotions. The concept of photographic storytelling builds on an individual textual narrative on the spaces of everyday life, then 'translated' into images. Stories and pictures by the young students bring to light hidden and invisible geographies which go beyond the simple documentation of sites and reveal a much more significant upshot on the uses, representations, emotions, and political implications that link young people and space.
Géographies et émotions du quotidien. Récits-photographiques de jeunes habitants de Fès. - Cet article présente les principaux résultats d'un projet de récit-photographique réalisé par des élèves de deux collèges de Fès (Maroc) localisés en différents quartiers de la ville. Le principal objectif consistait dans l'investigation de comment un groupe de jeunes habitants de la ville percevait les transformations en acte dans leurs quartiers respectifs, et sur quels étaient les effets de ces mutations dans leurs vies quotidiennes, sur leurs habitudes et leurs émotions. Par récit photographique on entend ici une méthodologie focalisée sur un récit textuel individuel portant sur les espaces du quotidien et successivement traduit en images. Ces récits et les images photographiques des jeunes participants ont ainsi dévoilé des géographies cachées et autrement invisibles, lesquelles dépassent la simple documentation des lieux, pour dévoiler un témoignage bien plus significatif des pratiques ordinaires, des représentations, des émotions et des implications politiques qui lient les jeunes à l'espace.
