Le attività militari nel post-disastro e la militarizzazione dello spazio: temi e direzioni di indagine

ABSTRACT:
Il tema del militarismo, della militarizzazione e dell'impatto delle attività militari negli spazi civili è al centro di un crescente dibattito internazionale, che ne sta modificando anche gli assunti portanti. Il contributo si sviluppa in tale quadro concettuale, proponendosi di estenderne alcuni elementi anche al panorama geografico italiano. Attraverso l'osservazione di come l'impiego delle forze armate nelle attività post-disastro possa partecipare alla diffusione del militarismo, è possibile evidenziare come l'ideologia militarista si espanda a luoghi in cui la presenza militare è assente oppure opera in modo differente dal consueto. Questo, travalicando lo specifico caso analizzato, potrebbe condurre a successive indagini sulle geografie del militarismo, volte a sottolinearne i luoghi ed i processi di diffusione.
Military activities in post-disaster and militarization of space: research issues and directions. - Militarism, militarization and relationships between military activities and civil spaces constitute relevant international debate issues. This debate also includes a re-thinking of their main aspects. In this framework, the paper aims to extend some of these reflections to the Italian geographical debate. Moving from the analysis of the role that military forces have during the post-disaster and the related impact in terms of militarism, the article emphasizes how militarism can expand to places where military activities are absent or are different from usual. Going beyond the analized situation, the article opens to different research issues in terms of militarism, militarized places and militarization.
Les activités militaires dans le post-catastrophe et la militarisation de l'espace: thèmes et enquêtes. - Le thème du militarisme, de la militarisation et de l'impact des opérations militaires dans des zones civiles est l'objet d'un débat international qui va changer ses points clés. Cet article se développe dans ce domaine conceptuel, qui propose d'étendre certains éléments aussi à la scène géographique italienne. En observant comme l'utilisation des forces armées dans les activités post-catastrophe va participer à la diffusion du militarisme, il est possible de mettre en évidence comme l'idéologie militariste se développe dans des endroits où les activités militaires étaient absentes. Ces analyses pourraient ouvrir de nouveaux débats sur les lieux et la diffusion de la géographie du militarisme.
